Dear Declo 1st Ward Relief Society,

                 We are so very thankful we had the opportunity to serve you.  It has been a true pleasure.   We have enjoyed getting to know you better and learning great things from you.  You are truly Daughters of God and are blessed with the greatest and kindest spirits.

New Course of Study for 2014

.The Melchizedek Priesthood and Relief Society will be studying the new Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Fielding Smith manual during second and third Sundays.

Sunday School will be studying the Old Testament.  

Sister M'Kenzie Osterhout has been called to the Moscow, Russia mission!  Her farewell is November 10th and she leaves for the MTC on November 20th.  Good Luck and we will miss you.  Look Out, Russia, here she comes!!!!

Happiness Happens at the Harpers

We are so grateful that Pres. and Sis. Harper moved into our ward.  We had another great kayaking, boating, and relaxing evening  at their beautiful home by the river.  Lots of great friends to talk to and catch up with from our summer adventures.  What a wonderful evening.

Winning a Presidency Challenge is Great...Especially a Dinner and a Show!

Winning a Presidency Challenge is such fun!.  Bro. Packham has such a rich, talented voice that it was a thrill to listen to him sing his favorite songs.  We enjoyed the musical talents from his wife and daughter as well.  Such a talented musical family.  Thanks, Jay and Judy, for a wonderful evening and the best of all prizes... dinner and music!

RS Bike Ride to Lake Walcott

The RS Meeting Committee planned an amazing bike ride outing to Lake Walcott.  Many sisters trained for weeks to get ready.  It was so fun (even with the bugs in the eyes, nose, and mouth.)   Many sisters met us at the park for a wonderful BBQ and great conversations.  Thanks, Megan and Michelle and our incredible committee.  Our muscles and hearts thank you.
